The facility
Villa Sabrina Residenza Protetta retirement home in Terni is a facility authorised by the Region of Umbria with resolution no. 11379 of 12/12/2003, accredited with the Region of Umbria and has an agreement with ASL and municipalities. It has an accommodation capacity of 24 beds for non-self-sufficient guests, adopting the highest standards of quality and safety required for the type of user performed. Villa Sabrina's opening is due to its innate desire to provide quality services and the special attention it has always paid to the needs of the elderly population. This has led to a particular interest in and commitment to caring for the elderly suffering from senile dementia and Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases.
Objectives
The objectives underlying the work carried out within it, start from the desire to help the non-self-sufficient guest combat loneliness and isolation, and the discomfort that certain psychophysical limitations can create in the management of daily life. A series of occupational activities are planned, with the precise aim of providing users with useful tools for their rehabilitation and providing fundamental support for their psychophysical well-being. In addition, the facility organises group rehabilitative gymnastics courses three times a week and provides physiotherapists for any individual therapies. This is possible thanks to the agreement with FKT Villa Sabrina polyclinic specialising in physio kinesiotherapy and sports medicine. Within the rest home, guests can receive spiritual support through the presence of a priest and attend Mass every 15 days.

The interventions and rehabilitation therapies follow the lines of targeted treatments, which is why each patient has their individual rehabilitation project tailored by a team of specialists.

The Villa Sabrina rest home supports patients suffering from degenerative diseases, offering extensively comfortable spaces and environments, with familiar and relaxing atmospheres, and guaranteeing efficient, professional and friendly service from all staff members. The facility, located on Strada Pareti 34 in Otricoli, has been studied, designed and improved over time to meet the needs of its guests and to make them feel welcome and cared for at all times. The building has a large urbanised area outside the structure, with illuminated parking spaces for visitors and special spaces for the disabled.
